Annual Meeting Notice
Sunday, January 7, 6:00 PM
Every year in January, St. Matthew’s holds its Annual Parish Meeting. This year’s meeting will be Sunday, January 7 at 6:00 PM. At the annual meeting, St. Matthew's members will elect five people to serve on the Vestry. The Vestry is composed of fifteen members of the parish who are responsible for the running of the business side of the church as well as various Commissions. Each year five people "retire" from a three year term on the Vestry and five new people are elected. Those retiring from the vestry in 2007 will be Kevin McGillicuddy, Babs Clendenin, Kathy Vail, Reid Kirchem and Jay Robison. Elections will also be held for representation to the Diocesan Council and the Endowment Committee. In addition to the elections, we will hear a report on the “state of the parish.”
It's not to late to run for the vestry. Just fill out a
Vestry Candidate Form
and turn it in to the office.
