    Personal Legacies Series, Part 2

If you missed Don Cramer on April 13th and his presentation about "Our Legacy to Future Generations," you really missed an entertaining and very informative lecture. Mr. Cramer shared with us his advice, personal stories, and humorous examples about how to go about organizing and planning your wills and estates. He gave us insights and suggestions about things to think about when writing a will for the first time or when revising it. He shared with us common mistakes made by individuals when writing their wills or when estate planning. Did you know 7 out of 10 people do not have an estate plan? Do you know some of the most important things your estate plan should include? Are you aware of the various planned giving strategies that will maximize what you pass on to others or what your estate will have to pay out in taxes if you have not considered these options? Will we be good stewards and leave a generous legacy for future generations?

Click the Slides link to see Don Cramer's presentation on Personal Legacies. He has agreed to return on May 18th to meet with individuals/couples in 45 minutes sessions from 12:00-6:00 p.m. to discuss wills and estate planning needs. He is offering this advice FREE OF CHARGE. Please contact Blythe Wilson at chrisblythewilson@sbcglobal.net or 371.7000 if you are interested in scheduling an appointment to meet with Mr. Cramer.

The second part of this series will be on Sunday, May 18th at 9:15 a.m. in Huffman Hall. Laura Pinto from Frost Bank will be our guest speaker. She will be speaking on Steps to Financial Freedom. She will be discussing the following items: having a game plan, reduce/monitor debt, plan for retirement, think about educational funding, establish a dream account, and protective/safe keep information. Please mark this date on your calendar and plan on attending. The information she is going to share with us will be of interest to adults of all ages.
