Care for the Caregiver
2nd Thursday of Each Month
9:00 - Noon in Room B18
Sorry, there will not be a March meeting.
Join us each month for chair massages (starting at 9 AM) along with coffee and refreshments at 9:30. Our featured speaker will begin at 10:00 AM. Come browse our Resource Center with information, free handouts, business cards, a lending library, etc.
Care for the Caregiver (CFTC) is a St. Matthew’s ministry that bridges both a pastoral and outreach need. More than a support group, CFTC provides information, resources, laughter and true empathy for the individual who finds themselves in a caregiving role. It is an opportunity to gather with other caregivers as we all learn about the necessity and value of taking care of ourselves as we care for our loved ones. The focus of this ministry is the caregiver and their spiritual, physical and mental well being.
We welcome anyone who would like to join us on the 2nd Thursday of the month, beginning at 9:30 am in B-19. Refreshments, free chair massage and interesting and varied guest speakers make up our program each month. This is very much an interactive ministry…hopefully responding to the needs to our community in a loving and supportive role.
Additionally, this ministry also provides respite care for those family members that attend the Alzheimer’s Support Group at St. Matthew’s on the 3rd Friday of the month.
If you would like to be part of this ministry in any way, please contact

or if Respite or Care Child Care is needed.
