The Good Samaritan Ministry
The Good Samaritan Ministry began many years ago with a group of faithful women who were willing to give of their time and talents to help those who had recently lost a loved one, returned home from the hospital or had a newborn baby and would appreciate having a meal delivered to their home.
This Ministry consists of four teams who are notified by the office when a meal is requested. Because of the generosity of the Episcopal Church Women who donated funds to this ministry, we are able to provide one meal with a ham and the other team members provide sides and dessert. Under the leadership of chair persons Val Bray, Babs Clendenin and Amanda Fowle, this group is happy to help you in your time of need. Please call the Church office and let us know. The office will contact one of the chair persons, who in turn will have a volunteer contact the family and make the necessary arrangements such as time, number of people, dietary restrictions, etc.
Gentlemen, if you don't cook, but would be willing to deliver, we can use your services as we have some volunteer cooks who are unable to drive.
