Prayer Team Ministry
Prayer is communication with our Lord. This communication can take on many forms. One opportunity for prayer communication is with one of the Sunday Morning Prayer Teams. Anyone who feels the need for prayer may come to one of the two prayer teams at our Sunday, 10:30 AM service during Communion.
Two prayer stations are available, one at each side of the church. You will see prayer team members come to the altar to receive Communion with the choir then proceed to the prayer stations. You may visit one of the stations for prayers at any point during Communion - these teams are there to pray for your prayer requests. Requests may be for you or for someone else’s needs. Requests can be as specific or non-specific as you choose. All you have to do is come to a prayer team. Everything is held in complete confidence.
For those of us who are on Sunday Morning Prayer Teams, we are given a gift by our Lord to be a part of this ministry. This ministry is one of stepping back and becoming smaller so the Lord can become larger to the one for whom we pray. At our best, those of us on a prayer team become a channel of God’s healing light and love. We pray for the specific prayer request with great trust in God’s healing light and love to touch the one for whom we pray. We consider it an honor to pray for you.
