Women’s Story Circle Luncheon ~ January 13, 2013
You will not want to miss the first Women’s Story Circle luncheon of 2013 when we welcome Jen Ferguson, a Christian writer and speaker and founder of s(He) Listens Ministries…and our 2013 ECW Retreat facilitator! Please join us on January 13th to welcome this very special guest. Bring a friend – what better way to kick off the new year?
The Women’s Story Circle is a bi-monthly luncheon and fellowship event for women of all ages, featuring a woman from our parish telling her spiritual story. PLEASE RSVP no later than January 9 if you will be attending and indicate if you will need childcare. The cost of the luncheon is $7.00.

About Women's Story Circle
The Women’s Story Circle is a monthly luncheon and fellowship event sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of St. Matthew’s for women of all ages, featuring a woman from our parish telling her spiritual story. The Women’s Story Circle will typically be held the second Sunday of each month in Huffman Hall. A light lunch will be served and a donation of $7/person is requested.
If given the opportunity, women minister to women. This is a natural trait of womanhood and helps give women the strength and reserve to get through life’s toughest situations. Each month after church, one woman from our St. Matthew’s family will share her unique aspects of her personal spiritual journey with female friends, family members, and guests. At these informal sessions we will have a light lunch then hear about how women in our church have lived through cancer, divorce, loss of a child, health problems and other challenges. Or we may hear about women who made choices for themselves about their careers, religion, marriages and retirement. Some women will bring wonderful success stories; others stories of overcoming hardships and yet others of finding a new life due to a different career or family change. As an expression of our gratitude a donation to the El Buen Baby Bundles is made in the name of our speakers.
In order to help us be both good hostesses and good stewards in planning the amount of food we'll need, PLEASE RSVP if you will be attending. Also, if you will need childcare, please so indicate. Babysitting will be provided and lunch will be served to children as well.
