For John Edwards and family on the death of his wife, Sharon, on August 31, 2003

We pray for peace around the world, especially in those places torn apart by strife and war. We pray for the USA and for our President, George Bush, and for all who serve our country in harm’s way. We pray, as well, for all the leaders of the nations and for those we name as enemies, that God will turn their hearts and ours to reconciliation, peace and justice with security.

If requested, every prayer name is printed in the Weekly Word for one month. All names are passed on to the Prayer Network at the time of the original request, and they remain on for one month, or as needed. If you want a name reprinted, simply call the office. We’ll be happy to reinstate any name. If have requested prayer for someone on the list, please call the office, 345-8314, to update church information.
