Excellent, Experienced Child Care for Your Young Children is Offered from 7:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Nurseries for children 0-18 months are located in Huffman Hall on the parking lot side of the hallway. The nursery for children 18 months - 4 years is in the Education Building. There is also a comfortable, soundproof room upstairs for adults who wish to keep their babies with them during the service.

Home Delivery of Holy Communion If you are unable to come to church and would like Holy Communion brought to you on Sunday, please call Jim Sparks at 345-7757.

Thanks for Wearing Your Nametag! If you need a new nametag please see Dedee Norman at the Welcome Table in the Commons right after church. Thanks for faithfully wearing your nametag each and every Sunday.

Personal Prayer Teams are available during Communion at Prayer Stations on either side of the sanctuary. One station is located on the east side, by the windows, and the other station is on the west side in the gallery. Prayer requests and discussion are completely confidential.

The Good Samaritans Ministry offers love in the form of a hot meal for you and your family if you are in the hospital, sick, or recovering from adversity. In addition, other pastoral care services are available if you will just call the church office, 345-8314 with your needs and requests. In case of emergency, St. Matthew’s clergy may be reached by calling 771-0680.

TODAY Visitor’s Orientation will be held this morning. If you are visiting today and would like to know more about St. Matthew’s and what it has to offer you, please gather with The Rev. Merrill Wade at the front of the sanctuary immediately after the 10:30 service for a brief orientation.

TODAY The ECW (Episcopal Church Women) is putting on a "blitz" on Sunday, July 13 and Sunday, July 20. We are hoping to collect 100 items for SafePlace. If you want to take part, please bring shampoo, deodorant or toothpaste (regular sizes, not the "hotel size") and help us help those women and children who are served at SafePlace. They often come with nothing and we would like to provide at least some of the necessities. Let’s load the collection basket which will be at the Great Teacher’s Class in Huffman Hall and in the Commons with those items.

*TODAY is the LAST Sunday to register for the Saturday, July 19, in-house retreat sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women of St. Matthew’s. Sign up either at the adult education hour or before or after the 10:30 service in the Commons. Final deadline will be Wednesday at noon. This promises to be a special time for the women of our parish and you are encouraged to bring your friends and family members. Childcare is available upon request. The cost is $22, Registration is at 8:30, Program 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., the place is Huffman Hall and Posy Jackson will be the retreat leader. She will lead us toward a greater understanding of the spiritual life.

*CURSILLO PALANCA PARTY TONIGHT! Palanca party today at 5:30pm until 7:30pm in B18. This party supports Cursillo #201 (August) and #202 (November) so don't miss the opportunity to support the Cursillo community. And, you guessed it, this is the last party of the year. Did you Forget Something? If you went to Vacation Bible School? We have lots of leftover art work and some volunteers who did not pick up a thank you bag. If you volunteered, please come get a thank you bag. If your child left his artwork here, please pick it up ASAP. All items are located at the South end of Huffman Hall.

LAREDO TIME! The annual Shop Till You Drop Eat Till You Pop Bus Trip is October 18-19, 2003. Price is STILL $110 per person, which includes a new bus company bus, double room at LaPosada Hotel and box lunch for return. Send check made out to Margaret Parker, 3631 Kentfield Road, Austin, TX 78759. Checks will be cashed October 1, since this new company requires payment in full 10 days out. Daily Evening Prayer in the Cauley Bell Tower Chapel Continues every night at 6:00 p.m. Evening Prayer is led by a lay reader of the church. Lasting 12-15 minutes, the service involves the reading of a psalm, a scripture lesson and includes prayers and intercessions for the church and the world.
