TODAY
The ECW (Episcopal Church Women) is putting on a "blitz." We are hoping to collect 100 items for SafePlace. If you want to take part, please bring shampoo, deodorant or toothpaste (regular sizes, not the "hotel size") and help us help those women and children who are served at SafePlace. They often come with nothing and we would like to provide at least some of the necessities. Let’s load the collection basket which will be at the Great Teacher’s Class in Huffman Hall and in the Commons with those items.*
TODAY is the last day to pick up Vacation Bible School projects. If you have not picked up any left items from Vacation Bible School, today is the day to do so. Next event is Cursillo # 201, 7-10 August, followed by the August Ultreya at St. Richard's in Round Rock. The August Cursillo is almost full and St. Matthew's has no candidates. It is not too late folks to sponsor someone. How about it? Contact Steve Ryder or Rev. George Wilson, asap. Submitted by Dyke Miller
