Excellent, Experienced Child Care for Your Young Children is Offered from 7:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Nurseries for children 0-18 months are located in Huffman Hall on the parking lot side of the hallway. The nursery for children 18 months - 4 years is in the Education Building. There is also a comfortable, soundproof room upstairs for adults who wish to keep their babies with them during the service.
Home Delivery of Holy Communion If you are unable to come to church and would like Holy Communion brought to you on Sunday, please call Jim Sparks at 345-7757.
Thanks for Wearing Your Nametag! If you need a new nametag please see Dedee Norman at the Welcome Table in the Commons right after church. Thanks for faithfully wearing your nametag each and every Sunday.
Personal Prayer Teams are available during Communion at Prayer Stations on either side of the sanctuary. One station is located on the east side, by the windows, and the other station is on the west side in the gallery. Prayer requests and discussion are completely confidential.
The Good Samaritans Ministry offers love in the form of a hot meal for you and your family if you are in the hospital, sick, or recovering from adversity. In addition, other pastoral care services are available if you will just call the church office, 345-8314 with your needs and requests. In case of emergency, St. Matthew’s clergy may be reached by calling 771-0680.

*Cursillo Summer! Next event is Cursillo # 201, 7-10 August, followed by the August Ultreya at St. Richard's in Round Rock. The August Cursillo is almost full and St. Matthew's has no candidates. *Donations Needed for the Arts Festival Silent Auction We are looking for donations from individuals as well as businesses that we could put in the silent auction. Example--dinner at Mirabelle--tickets to an event--free round of golf and of course some wonderful piece of art you no longer have a need--desire--or use for. , instead of meeting in Huffman Hall, you will be meeting with the current Rite 13 class in the Chrysalis Cottage for the rest of the summer on Sunday mornings. Have fun!*Thank you to all who came to the 20th Annual Ice Cream Social. We polished off almost all of the 28 half-gallons and 2 quarts of Ice Cream and Sherbet and many toppings (compliments of VBS). A special thanks to those who helped with the many aspects of presenting the Annual Ice Cream Social – setting up tables and chairs, leading the sing-along, distributing programs, selling bowls, setting out and replenishing ice cream, scooping, and cleanup!
*Fall Kick-off Singing Workshop Have you ever wanted to learn how to sing or how to sing better? On Saturday, August 16, you have that chance – led by our own Cary Michaels, who is on the voice faculty at Southwest Texas State University. The first part will be from 10am-noon, we’ll have lunch, followed by a second part from 1-3pm. This is a free event, open to everyone who enjoys singing. Choir participation is not required! Hymns will be the main teaching material. A reservation is required for lunch. There will be a sign-up sheet near the organ on Sunday, August 10, or call Suzanne Daniel, 773-0910 by Wednesday, August 13th.

LAREDO TIME! The annual Shop Till You Drop Eat Till You Pop Bus Trip is October 18-19, 2003. Price is STILL $110 per person, which includes a new bus company bus, double room at LaPosada Hotel and box lunch for return. Send check made out to Margaret Parker, 3631 Kentfield Road, Austin, TX 78759. Checks will be cashed October 1, since this new company requires payment in full 10 days out. Daily Evening Prayer in the Cauley Bell Tower Chapel Continues every night at 6:00 p.m. Evening Prayer is led by a lay reader of the church. Lasting 12-15 minutes, the service involves the reading of a psalm, a scripture lesson and includes prayers and intercessions for the church and the world.
