Excellent, Experienced Child Care for Your Young Children is Offered from 7:45 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Nurseries for children 0-18 months are located in Huffman Hall on the parking lot side of the hallway. The nursery for children 18 months - 4 years is in the Education Building. There is also a comfortable, soundproof room upstairs for adults who wish to keep their babies with them during the service.
Home Delivery of Holy Communion If you are unable to come to church and would like Holy Communion brought to you on Sunday, please call Jim Sparks at 345-7757.

Personal Prayer Teams are available during Communion at Prayer Stations on either side of the sanctuary. One station is located on the east side, by the windows, and the other station is on the west side in the gallery. Prayer requests and discussion are completely confidential.
The Good Samaritans Ministry offers love in the form of a hot meal for you and your family if you are in the hospital, sick, or recovering from adversity. In addition, other pastoral care services are available if you will just call the church office, 345-8314 with your needs and requests. In case of emergency, St. Matthew’s clergy may be reached by calling 771-0680.

TODAY! Adult Sunday School Classes 9:00 a.m. Hope in the Fast Lane: Spiritual Resources in a Stressful World.(Room B-18) is led by Joyce Scott and guest speakers. Our mornings begin at 9:00, with the outstanding program, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, that nurtures the spiritual lives of our children, age 3 years - 5th grade. Please bring them, following the maps around campus, on your way to one of the adults' spiritual formation classes. Then, at the beginning of the service, children age 3 years - 3rd grades may choose to attend chapel services, whether moving directly from Sunday School class or following an acolyte, leaving the service. All children return to the service at the offering of Peace.*Don’ Forget! Next Sunday, September 7, is Good Faith Sunday.
Your generous support helps to provide assistance for those who come to our office seeking financial help. Those needs are assessed by the Good Faith Committee which prayerfully disburses the Fund to help where it is needed most.*Arts Festival Final Committee Meeting is today, right after church in B-14. "First Friday" luncheon/speaker series will resume on Friday, September 5, at 11:00 a.m. in Huffman Hall. September’s speaker is Clive Smith whose topic is, "A South African Childhood." The presentation will be followed by a covered dish luncheon at 12:00 noon. Bring a dish to share, casserole, meat, vegetable, salad, bread, dessert – and partake of food and fellowship.*First Friday Golf begins September 5!

Artist’s Reception: Thanks to all of you who have offered to help at the reception on Friday, September 5: 6-8 p.m. and to those who have promised dessert items or finger sandwiches. DOK Training: Beginning September 7, 2003, the Order of the Daughters of the King will offer classes for candidates who wish to be admitted as "Daughters". The classes will be held in B-6 during the Sunday school hour

Daily Evening Prayer in the Cauley Bell Tower Chapel Continues every night at 6:00 p.m. Evening Prayer is led by a lay reader of the church. Lasting 12-15 minutes, the service involves the reading of a psalm, a scripture lesson and includes prayers and intercessions for the church and the world.
