WANTED: CHILDREN'S CHORUS ACCOMPANIST.  No experience necessary. Rehearsals will be Sundays immediately after Communion lasting about 30 minutes so there's no extra trips to our fine campus.  PLEASE pray about sharing your talents with our kids and putting those childhood piano lessons to use--your mother would be so proud!  Accompanying on our Singing Sundays is optional  Contact Shannon Magee at 330-0522 if you feel the beat!

How can you make a memorial or commemorative gift that will endure?  The answer is by directing it to the St. Matthew's Permanent Endowment Fund.  Whether your gift is to commemorate a birth, a person's life, marriage, graduation, or any other occasion, it will provide support for St. Matthew's charitable activities on a continuing and ongoing basis into the future.

*Sunday, October 31, we will offer the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. If you or someone you know wishes to be baptized, just call Betty Mitchell at 345-8314 or email betty@stmattsaustin.org

*Special Gifts Committee seeks investment management services.  The Special Gifts Committee seeks proposals to provide managed account services for investment of funds in the Church's endowments.  Contact Bert Hooper at 346-6675 or mbhooper9453@aol.com to obtain a proposal package.  Proposals are due in the Church office by 4:30 p.m., Thursday, October 28.  Interviews of selected proposals will be conducted on November 8.

*Has Your Family Outgrown…an electronic musical keyboard? St. Matthew’s Religious Education office is hoping to gather two or three small portable keyboards in good working order that could be used simultaneously in various classrooms on Sunday mornings or for special events. Doesn't that sound like fun for our children?! Please contact Barbara Pitts at 345-8314, if you might be able to make such a donation. Thanks!

*October 31 is the day we observe All Soul’s Day. On that day a special prayer request bulletin insert will list names of our loved ones who have died. In the Commons you will find a basket containing cards where you may print the names of those in your family you wish to have listed. Fill out a card and return it to the basket. All names received by Wednesday, October 27, will be printed. Please print legibly and include your own name so that we may call if we can’t read your writing. Or better yet, just email your names to betty@stmattsaustin.org
